Statement of Organic Origins

This is to certify that all Positive Medicine products are manufactured in accordance to MCA 2002 GMP Guidance and the quality conforms to the required specification. Positive Medicine products contain no unauthorised additives, none of the raw materials used are from GM crops nor have they been subjected to treatment with irradiation. No parabens are used in Positive Medicine creams. Instead they contain a skin-friendly preservative with a pH value of 5.5. We can also confirm that organic herbs are used in the production of products that are indicated as organic.

Statement about information and advice

The information, advice and advertising provided by Positive Medicine are not intended to be a substitute for professional medical diagnosis and treatment, especially if you know you have a specific health complaint. Our recommendation is that you find a suitably qualified health care practitioner who is sympathetic to the usefulness of a naturopathic approach.

The European Directive on Traditional Herbal Medicine.

Products that are deemed medical and not food supplements have been removed from wholesale and must seek licensing if they are to be available to the public. Only the large pharmaceutical companies can afford this. That means the present government are trying to make tinctures such as, Elderberry, Elderflower, Ginko Biloba, Agnus Castus, Valeriana, Nettle, Dandelion, Echinacea, Milk Thistle, Rosemary, Red clover, Thyme and many other natural herbs illegal! Unknown to many this was decided in 2004 but is only coming into effect this year as retailers and health food shops have been given the opportunity to sell off any surplus stock they may hold. This means that what is available to the public could run out in soon. Herbal teas are presently excempt from this directive but this could change if the powers that be deem them medicinal!
