Help & Advice: Skin & essential oils

Hello I have had skin problem since I turned 27/28, I didn't have acne as a teenager. My skin is quite damaged now (I had various chemical treatments since my skin problems appeared - even isotretinoine or roaccutane! - but to no or very little transient avail). I am now 32 and I'm a bit desperate now. I have decided to use essential oils to heal and try to decrease my scars. I have gathered info on ylang-ylang and ti-tree oil, but I don't know if it is possible to mix them. So here is my question: can we mix those two essential oils and how much and to which carrier oil, if we need to use a carrier oil? I thank you in advance for your help. Christine Season's greetings.

HI Christine, Sorry for the delay but we have had an extended holiday break. There is absolutley no problem in mixing essentail oils you speak of in a carrier oil of something like sweet almond oil or peach kernel oil. 1 drop of essential oil to 2ml of carrier oil. Add 10% evening primrose oil to the carrier oil for better results. Rose seed hip oil neat on the skin is a great night time treatment for reducing scarring and marks. Hope this helps.Wishing you a Happy New Year from all at Positive Medicine
