Help & Advice: Skin & essential oils | | | Hello
I have had skin problem since I turned 27/28, I didn't have acne as a teenager. My skin is quite damaged now (I had various chemical treatments since my skin problems appeared - even isotretinoine or roaccutane! - but to no or very little transient avail). I am now 32 and I'm a bit desperate now. I have decided to use essential oils to heal and try to decrease my scars. I have gathered info on ylang-ylang and ti-tree oil, but I don't know if it is possible to mix them. So here is my question: can we mix those two essential oils and how much and to which carrier oil, if we need to use a carrier oil?
I thank you in advance for your help.
Christine

| | HI Christine,
Sorry for the delay but we have had an extended holiday break. There is absolutley no problem in mixing essentail oils you speak of in a carrier oil of something like sweet almond oil or peach kernel oil. 1 drop of essential oil to 2ml of carrier oil. Add 10% evening primrose oil to the carrier oil for better results. Rose seed hip oil neat on the skin is a great night time treatment for reducing scarring and marks. Hope this helps.Wishing you a Happy New Year from all at Positive Medicine |
