Flower Hydrosol Waters

Aromatic flower waters are the fragrant result of a long slow process of steam distillation. During this process, steam is passed through plant materials (such as flower petals, stems, and leaves), causing the essential oils to evaporate. The steam, carrying the volatile compounds from the plant, is then condensed back into liquid form. This condensed liquid is rich in therapeutic properties.

Many floral waters are produced by adding essential oils to water or are the ‘left overs’ of the production of essential oils.  Our flower waters are different as they retain a high percentage of the therapeutic water-soluble volatiles. Microscopic particles of pure essential oils are evenly dispersed within spring water. This complex distillate is a truly exquisite hydrosol flower essence that exudes the heart and soul of the plant.
