About the Preservatives in Our Creams
To ensure safety and product stability, this cream contains a 1% dilution of phenoxyethanol, combined with natural glycerine. This helps prevent the growth of bacteria, mould and yeast.
Phenoxyethanol is widely used as a preservative in cosmetic products. The European Commission’s Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS) has concluded that phenoxyethanol is safe for use as a cosmetic preservative at concentrations of up to 1%.
